Performance - RC Lasers are raced all over the world by some of the best full sized boat sailors. We mention this because a boat that performs well, is very illuminating. When you sail this boat well, it is obvious - turning your performance into instant feedback. Radio Controlled - Each client holds a radio controller (on a lanyard around neck). Two sticks control the entire operation. One joy stick steers the boat left and right, and the other trims the sail in or out. Within your first hour of sailing you will learn the controls, and by the end of your course, they will be second nature to you. Quick and Easy - Part of the success of model sailing classes is that the model is ready to go in minutes. Check the radio, sit the boat in the water, and you are ready to sail. No sailing out to open water, rigging and unrigging, etc., etc. And the weather is no problem. On a windy day when you would probably not go out in a full sized boat, your RC Laser will sail safely and well. Likewise, when you couldn't learn anything on a boat becalmed on a glass sea, the model keeps on sailing. Fun - Sailing a model is a hoot! Everyone that sails a model is immediately excited about sailing. In models, things happen much faster because of the scale speed of these boats.
